As we all know and the name suggests, Here the counselor or the therapist works one on one with the individual. It is the most common type of therapy. During these therapy sessions, the individual is made to brainstorm the goals they want to achieve. The great thing about individual therapy is the individual is able to have a safe environment to talk about hard things and get unbiased, objective feedback and suggestions.
